The term location intelligence is gaining popularity, but what does it really mean? Find out by following a young entrepreneur as she uses location intelligence to grow her business.
The product marketing team wanted to produce an easy-to-follow visual narrative that clearly and simply defined location intelligence. The idea was to first publish this in ArcNews and then print small posters that the team could pass out at upcoming events. I had the two authors who came up with this idea write out everything they wanted to say, and then I shortened the text and worked with a graphic designer to make sure what we designed could fit on a two-page magazine spread and on a relatively small poster. The magazine article turned out great both in print and online (where I used the new ArcGIS StoryMaps app to make sure the images were prominent and flowed with the narrative). Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the posters never got made.
